Welcome to another thread that probably won't see any more than like 10 people in it. meaning you will have a better chance of making a critical choice in the outcome of this story. Welcome you few brave annons and namefags alike to a thread where you control the mind of a filly on her journey for survival.
>Previous thread: >>23316602

So far
-managed to collect a stapler and three papers
-survived first encounter and locked the first entered room.
-tasted bitter fluid

and so
>You head down the stairs to find a short hallway that ends in double doors on the left side of the hall. opposite the doors is a large pink flower that has red stains all over it with a pile of what appears to be meat in front of it.
>Another speaker box populates this room but instead of giving you the time, it is repeating "Bio-containment Failure. Refer to MSDS."

As such all instances of bio-form 13-XX will be phased out of all areas within 72 cycles. If you work with any of bio-form 13-XX in your area please ask your manager for instructions on the changes.

compliance with laws requires us to hire any pony if they meet our standards of employment. Because of this, you may have a unicorn working in a magically sensitive department. If a unicorn starts using magic in a magically sensitive area tell your manager immediately because this is a safety hazard that will be punishable by termination of employment.

-Memo 4
Magic absorbing crystals are being manufactured in several FABs. If you see these in an area that is not marked as a no magic zone, inform you manager and tell all of the workers in your area to avoid using magic. these crystals are highly volatile in the presence of magic.

well you're doing a good job of keeping the pressure on (and with a death happening so early it makes people think about their actions) that can slow things down and make people risk adverse, but that will change as people learn your style

It's past my bedtime in any case, so let the chips fall where they may.

we can ask her who she is.

why she's an older us.

ask about the bitter liquid

>Who are "they"?
I meant the people who work here... or worked here... I don't know if anyone does anymore...
>What was that thing in the suit?
Those are like me. The people made them here for something. but sometimes they don't do what they're supposed to.
>what do I have to do with you dying?
I've only seen other... other ones like you. Like us when I've... When I was young something happened to me and I... passed... If I could find where it happened I could see... Myself... but, dead. I'm sorry, it's just that, earlier today I came the closest I've been to dying in a long time. One of those things in the suits got a hold of me, and strangled me until the world went dark... but then I woke up where it got me.. and I... I came here.
>If you've been here for ten years, why haven't you left?
I would but... The machines... The machines live on the bottom floors.
>If I untie you, will you keep from attacking me?
I'm sorry about earlier. I wasn't ready for... you. Yes, I'm okay now.
>You're the only pony I've found, are there more of us?
I used to see them. other ponies I mean. but they always die. So one day I just stopped. I stopped trying to help them....

Alright, I'm going to bed. Goodnight all.

I take it you've never been in an emergency situation (natural disasters, chemical spills, fires, etc) that required caring for more than a handful of friends or family members for more than a week. by three days group cohesion (even in non life threatening situation) can break down easily, and groups of strangers can be at each others throats in a matter of hours (if not minutes)
while it would be nice to save more ponies it's not a good idea for our own survival
sorry about the rant

You are correct. Most humans have not been in that kind of situation. What it comes down to, to me, is whether we need to push hard or try to sneak past. Pushing hard with two ponies would probably fail, sneaking with more than two ponies would probably fail. Whether or not a group can stay together for the required time is secondary to whether we'd fail anyway.

Regardless it'd still be nice to know if there are or aren't more ponies that could or could not be woken up. We still need to figure out how the rebirth mechanics work.

What I mean is the mind transfer bit. If it is a storage situation, would the body inside it be an empty vessel? Is there some risk involved each time it happens? Death seems cheap right now, but that's because we don't know the rules. Of course, that's assuming the mind transferred. While we remembered our little PC might not have.

On a completely unrelated note, we need to name both ponies.

Camping update!

The rule I was using didn't work well for wetting up camp in a lobby. So in the interest of keeping this game from slowing down to a halt. I'm adding some rules for setting up camp.
There will be 3 actions that can be taken in a day like fortifying the camp talking to other camp members or whatever. There will be one turn in camp at the end of the day.
And for this first camp I think we agreed on being here for only two days.

we already fortified (metal boxes), next action is gather food/medical supplies (squids, pokies, medkits), then talk to spearmint (learn to use medical supplies effectively), end the first day of camp with bandaging spearmint and resting in shifts

I like the name spearmint, but prefer to leave to names unofficial, for both her and us
also if we (or she) is a clone of the other then the same name would apply and in that case giving a name could get confusing while having separate names takes away (even if not officially) from the clone angle, as well as removes part of the mystery of this cyoa

>"What did you used to do?" you ask.
"Well we used to watch shows on the monitor together and I used to tell her a lot about my feelings."
>You ask her, "what happened to her?" Your doppelganger goes quiet for a while, a frown replacing her smile for a bit before coming back.
"She was such a wonderful pony that she became an angle, so she could help all of the lonely fillies."

Good afternoon. I feel I need to clear a few things up because shit got crazy while I was helping someone move.
Just so you guys know this >>23426053 was not me. I don't know who this was but that post is a bit of a problem.
Now 11-54 does not have any lewds in it for two reasons.
The first being because I already have a reason that we don't die while encountering deadly monsters and secondly, because there hasn't been much that would lead to sex or rape without breaking from the way I have written the monsters and friendly NPCs.
Honestly, after the post >>23420898 I was going to ask tonight if the people on this thread wanted to include the possibility of being raped or sex with NPCs to this game, which is not a big deal for me because I've done many requests for porn in the past. What I will not do, is go out of my way just to make this pornographic because I feel like that would take away from the game. Honestly, if you just want some porn with the characters or settings in this game there is probably a perfectly good Draw Thread you could go to or if you find my Tumblr blog, derpibooru, e-mail whatever and ask really nice, you could probably get me to do it in my shitty art style as well.

Now addressing whoever put up the post
>>23426053
Seriously dude, I can't follow who's perspective this is from and you forgot to add weird details that go nowhere. And no shit tier artwork to go with the post fo-shame. And I'm not really sure if you're angry about the shitposters or one of them. but if you were trying to get rid of them please don't pose as me. you're just going to make it much harder to continue this game. Now I'm going to take a shower and draw up a dream sequence I was going to actually toss in here. Don't burn down the thread while I'm gone, I really want to keep doing this.

Have MC and Spearmint meet different characters whenever they are split up/seperate,

MC has a robot that assists with tech based problems like locked doors and occasionally will fight normally unbeatable enemies if you treat the robot well.

Spearmint meets an employee of the facility known the Monitor who helps or hinders her putting her in dangerous situations to collect data, but receives a new gadget or tool and maybe even a weapon based Spearmint's performance during their encounters.

It seems to me that while having the whole adventure in the building of wonders is cool in itself, maybe our two heroines could find a terminal and figure out how to make peace with building security. That would at least eliminate half the threats, possibly help in tough spots, and maybe enable escape to see what the ravaged cityscape around us is like? Does our doppelganger have any skills along those lines? Though it does seem doubtful based on what she said before about the machines...

Read back in earlier parts of the story that the dog-man bio form 13XX would be phased out after 72 or so cycles.
Would this mean that bio form 11 AKA Spearmint would also be phased out after 72 cycles as well? Although that was due to it not following it's directive. Would Spearmint be phased out as well if she broke what directive she was intended for?

I also theorize that Bio form 13XX is gonna one of those enemies that will stalk and try to kill you throughout the story. Kinda like in Alien Isolation because that guy is big and so far we haven't seen or found any weapons or tools that would allow us to effectively combat the hostile bio forms we have encountered thus far.

Also in the post with the memo's there was a note that read "Jessie's Lunch". Could Jessie be the one that referred to Spearmint as his chocolate pony? What do you guys think?
